Rockasoft RID 54% is a Silicone micro-emulsion based softener and additive for textile finishing. It is compatible with most of the finishing agents, but when several items are going to be mixed together, first of all the compatibility should be tested. It is a concentrated softener for woven and knitted fabrics of natural and synthetic fibers and their blends

Application & Recommendation

Rockasoft RID 54% can be used in Finishing of woven and knitted fabrics composed of cellulosic fibers. If used in finish, it gives a very smooth and soft handle, improved sewability, crease recovery, greater resilience and abrasion resistance, improved elastic recovery of knitwear and largely washfast finishing effects. The dosage of consumption is 10 to 30 g/l.

PADDING METHOD

5 – 10 gr/lit Rockasoft RID 54%

1 gr/lit acetic acid

Bath temperature not above 40˚C

Bath Pick – up = 70 – 80 %

Fixing Temperature = 120 – 150˚C

EXHAUST METHOD

Liqour of goods ratio = 5:1 - 20:1

Goods should be pre – wetted at 30 – 40˚C for 15 min. and at PH 4 – 5 ( adjustable with acetic acid ) add 1 - 2 % RID 54 depending on the type of fabric.

Treatment Time 15 min. then without rinsing : rinsing and dry
