Rockasoft RIA
Rockasoft RIA is a semi micro emulsion based softener used in textile finishing. It is stable to shearing on the pad rollers and gives a very smooth, soft and resilient handle of the finished goods.

Application & Recommendation
Rockasoft RIA improves technological properties, like sewability, abrasion resistance and tear strength, significant crease recovery. It also imparts hydrophobic effect and very good resistance to washing.
Silicone emulsions based on long-chain amino functional polysiloxanes with reactive, terminal groups cause stability problems, particularly at high speeds and long running times.
The important note for silicone softeners used in padding is good shearing stability of the emulsions.
