Rockafix ROF is a formaldehyde free dye fixing agent for improving the wet fastness properties of dyeing & printing with direct and reactive dyes.

Application & Recommendation

Rockafix ROF contains no free formaldehyde; It improves water, sea water, perspiration and fastness to washing, no effect on handle of goods and improves the wet, wash and perspiration fastness of direct dyeing. It improves wet fastness of reactive dyeing on cellulosic's influence on the light fastness is very few to nothing; It has not stiffing effect on treated materials. It is compatible with synthetic resins and finishing agents.

(Note : ammonium sulphate should not be used as catalyst)

Dosage depends on depth of shades (higher of heavy shades) & on whether reactive or direct dyes(higher for direct dyes) in exhaustion method 0.3 - 2.5% on the weight of goods (OWG) at PH 5 - 7 and temperature 30- 50°C for 15 - 30 minutes for pad application 3 - 30 g/l pad and dry.
