Rockapon OT-20 is readily soluble in water and is one of the most powerful wetting agents penetrating power. It is effective in Acid, Mildly Alkaline, neutral media, also in hard water.

Application & Recommendation

Rockapon OT-20 is specifically recommended for the following applications wherein its value has been proven in actual textile practice.

-The wetting out of gray goods (cotton piece) prior to caustic boiling and subsequent Chlorine bleaching.

-Wetting out Grey Cotton Piece Goods prior to PEROXIDE BLEACHING.
-Mixing with animal and vegetable oils (previously sulphonated) to form a liquid soap possessing strong detergent properties, without affecting colors when used in conjunction with HYDROGEN PEROXIDE in Bleaching grey cotton piece goods containing vat dyed colored stripes.
-Wetting out grey cotton piece on a mangle making same instantaneously and uniformly absorbent, which is necessary prior to gray SANFORIZING.

-Mixing with sulphonated Vegetable oils the treatment of Cotton (bleached or dyed) fabrics to increase penetration prior to SANFORIZING.

-Adding to the dye bath on grey cotton goods dyed direct form the bale to produce penetration and uniformity.
The preparing of raw stock cotton, yarn, and cotton piece goods prior to dyeing with all types of colors.
