Rockbiocide CR

ockbiocide CR is an aqueous solution of TCMTB . It's used to formulate industrial micro biocides for the control of bacteria, fungus and algae in a wide rang of environments. It is a broad spectrum micro biocide that functions effectively throughout a broad PH ranges. It is PH’s limited in activity only at those PH’s where microorganisms will not grow. Rockbiocide CR has a very wide range application in many industries such as wood, paper, adhesive, oil field, water treatment, and petroleum industries cutting fluids, textile and leather industries.

Rockbiocide CR has a very wide application in many industries.
Cooling Water System :

Slime deposits, plugging and fouling and microbiological corrosion problems caused by bacteria, fungi and algae have become increasingly prevalent in open recirculation cooling water systems. Similar conditions exist in closed loop chill water systems and once-through cooling systems.
Rockbiocide CR effectively controls these problems when used alone or in conjunction with a supplementary micro biocide. This product is compatible with most widely used scale and corrosion control programs.

Sapstain Control :

Freshly cut softwood and hardwood lumber, logs, poles, posts and timbers are subject to staining by uncontrolled growth of bacteria and fungi.

Rockbiocide CR is used to control sap stain and mold growth.
They are applied by dipping, or pressure impregnation of the wood with a water dispersion of the product as soon as possible after the wood is sawed and milled.
Preservation of Oil Filed Drilling Fluids:

Rockbiocide CR is used as a preservative for the drilling fluids or muds , completion fluids, packer fluids and other water-based compounds employed in the drilling of wells by the rotary method. These fluids, widely used in drilling oil wells, contain organic components that are subject to degradation by bacteria and fungi.

Water Flood Operation  :

Rockbiocide CR is used to control sulfate-reducing bacterial related to microbiological induced corrosion in secondary recovery water flooding processes. Rockbiocide CR controls the growth of typical micro flora found in produced salt water, commingled water, water retained in holding ponds.
And injection water pumped to flooding or disposal wells.

Cutting fluids :

Rockbiocide CR inhibits the bacterial and fungal degradation of aqueous solutions or emulsions of cutting fluids or oil employed as lubricants or coolants in the machining and processing of metals.

Textile Industry :

Rockbiocide CR inhibits the growth of fungi that cause the degradation of textile materials .Cellulose fibers such as cotton are readily attacked by fungi when exposed to conditions of high humidity and temperature . wool a proteinaceous fiber , is also subject to microbiological degradation but to a lesser extent than cotton . The most significant problem associated with fungal attack of textile is fabric decomposition, and the resulting loss commonly referred to as rotting.

Leather industry:

Rockbiocide CR prevents growth of bacteria and fungi in the pickling and tanning process of skins and hides. Application of theses products are made after dehairing and after all causticity has been removed from the skin or hide. Additions can be made to the pickling solution and to the tanning liquors, chrome-tan or vegetable –tan, as the liquor is added the skin or hides.
