Rockdefoam DMS-100
Rockdefoam DMS-100 is a dimethylpolysiloxane and silanes based high active silicone defoamer. It is used in aqueous and non-aqueous systems. The product can be prediluted with 2-Ethyl hexane, Toluene, M.E.K or similar solvent before usage. In toxicological aspects It is considered as a harmless product.

Application & Recommendation
This product is used in the following industries in both pure or emulsified:
- Chemical and petrochemical industry
- Textile and leather industry
- Producing of cleaning agents
- Producing of epoxy resins
- Filling processes
- Distillation and gas washing
- Oilfield industries
- Aqueous and non aqueous polymerization processes
- Refinery process
- PVA polymerization
- Acrylic polymerization
The dosage of consumption varies to the type of application and is 0.001-0.01 g/l.
HOW TO EMULSIFY IT
Rockdefoam DMS-100 is not water soluble but it can be emulsified with (Rockapon FAE-1809) as follow:
1. Charge 18-20 kgs
2. Heat it to 65-70 and mix it for 0.5 hour
3. Charge 50-60 kgs Rockapon FAE-1809
4. Run for 1 hour at 60- 65 °C
5. Charge 20-30 kgs DM water slowly during 2 hours
Note : stirrer must be anchor type and RPM must be 30-50
